Programming - interchanging information
with Matlab
You can interchange
information between Matlab and Excel.
This video shows that Matlab provides many tools for accessing data
from files,
and data bases or applications created by external programs or devices.
You may
interactively read variables or information just by clicking on them
within the
Matlab environment.
This capability includes
Excel files that you can
import
and then visualize or analyze; you can also read standard images.
There’s a
wide range of functions intended to incorporate external information
into
Matlab programs, including text files, xml files, audio and video,
images.
There are also binary low-level input/output functions for reading
non-standard
information.
